Jennifer J. Brown, Chief Program and Operating Officer
Jennifer Brown is in charge of the day-to-day operations of both the Opportunity Scholarship and Signature Scholarship Program. Jennifer brings 22 years of professional experience in business and non-profit organizations to WSF, including five years with Ernst & Young’s non-profit consulting group.
A native Washingtonian, Jennifer has been involved with education on a volunteer level for more than a decade. During that time, she served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Maret School; she was the president of Maret's Alumni Association and a member of its development committee; and she worked as a classroom volunteer at Lafayette Elementary School. She has served as Director of International Marketing and Research at the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers, as a senior consultant for RJ Miranda and Company, and as a senior analyst for Ernst & Young. She has also served as a volunteer paraprofessional crisis counselor and counselor trainer for the FACT (Families and Children in Trouble) Hotline in Washington, D.C.
Jennifer has an MBA in Finance from George Washington University, and a BS in economics and mathematics from Allegheny College.
