Toka Ibrahim, Senior Manager, Signature Scholarship Program and Outreach
Toka manages all aspects of WSF’s orginal scholarship-granting program, the 14-year old Signature Scholarship Program. Toka works closely with SSP families to understand their educational options and guide them through the scholarship renewal process. She also manages WSF’s external educational partnerships, works to build new partnerships, and assists in the day-to-day management of the OSP, especially during the time-intensive scholarship application and renewal process.
A D.C. native and lifelong advocate for educational equality, Toka is certified by the Child Development Association to teach young children and taught infants and toddlers at a child development center prior to joining WSF.
