Please help me help these deserving students by providing financial support for WSF scholarships. I can think of no better investment in the lives of

Donate Now: Your Support is Transforming Lives!

On behalf of the students and families we serve, thank you for your interest in the Washington Scholarship Fund and our critical work.

WSF depends on dedicated individuals like you, as well as local and national foundations, family foundations, and corporations who are all committed to increasing educational opportunities for low-income students and families in our Nation’s Capital. Through WSF’s scholarships, programs, and services our supporters are helping to provide life-changing opportunities.

Just read our "Stories of Success" to understand the enormous positive impact of our work. Our students and families are achieving so much because our donors believe in the organization's mission and make steadfast financial commitments. We hope you, also, will invest in our talented scholars.

The Impact of Your Investment

Important! The Children's Scholarship Fund matches every dollar raised for our Signature Scholarship Program — increasing the value of your financial commitment to low-income D.C. students. We'll leverage your gift of:

$250 to pay for a K-12 scholarship student's books and other academic fees for a full school year.

$500 to pay for a K-12 scholarship student's books and other academic fees – as wells as graduation fees for seniors – for a full school year.

$1,000 to pay for a K-12 scholarship student's books and academic support services for a full school year.

$1,500 to pay for a K-12 scholarship student's tuition — and books — for a semester.

$3,000 to pay for a K-12 scholarship student's tuition — and books — for a full school year.

Please Remember: Any amount helps sustain the scholarship programs that have helped transform the lives of low-income families in D.C. since 1993.

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

WSF’s CFC number is 57160. The CFC is the largest workplace charity campaign in the United States and the only campaign authorized to solicit and collect contributions from federal employees in the workplace on behalf of charitable organizations. Nearly four million federal employees and military personnel are able to contribute to the charities of their choice during the annual charity drive, which runs from September 1 through December 15 of each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal, and military donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations like WSF.

The United Way Annual Campaign

WSF’s United Way number is 8079. The United Way of the National Capital Area coordinates one of the largest annual fundraising campaigns in the country, and WSF is pleased to be a part of their annual fundraising drive.
